This project was designed to determine the extent to which environmental resource management plans are being considered during transportation project planning, environmental analysis, design and maintenance/operations. The research examined plans for watershed management, water quality restoration, fisheries/wildlife management/restoration, threatened/endangered species protection and recovery, historic preservation, and open space preservation. The report summarized the results and recommended next steps to enhance integration of transportation and resource management planning. PDF versions of the final report, along with appendix E and appendix F are available to download.
